Description

This set of teaching pictures were originally done in the Philippines in a joint project with Southern Baptist Foreign Mission Board. The pictures were prepared with tribal (or pre-literate) people in mind. They were carefully researched and will add interest and eye contact to Bible lessons.

These pictures were made to accompany the teaching material found in Firm Foundations: Creation to Christ. Forty-nine pictures are from the Old Testament. Fifty-six picture New Testament stories.

• Set of 112 black and white line drawings. The picture size is 6”x8” on each 8 1/2” x 11” sheet of paper. $15.60 (US)
• Set of 112 black and white line drawings with the picture size of 4”x3”. There are six drawings on each 8 1/2”x 11” sheet of paper.
• Set of one chronological chart, and three maps without words. Words in any language may be added to the maps and chart. $ 3.95 (US)
• All of the materials are available from the New Tribes Mission Book Room in Sanford, Florida.

Considerations

• This set of pictures has so many options for use that they would be useful with almost any people group.
• Permission has been given to copy the black and white line drawings for classroom use. These drawings may be used as handouts for children to color and take home.
• The slides and diskettes are all made from the same original artwork.
• The backgrounds are very simple.
• People who have never had opportunity to view complex graphics will be able to learn from these uncluttered pictures.
• The pictures correspond to the Bible lessons in Building on Firm foundations and Firm Foundations: Creation to Christ This includes both the adult and children's editions.
