Description
Each color in theWordless Book Vizualized has meaning. The gold page tells of God's love and His home called Heaven. The dark (black) page tells of our sin and God's punishment of sin. The red page tells of God's provision for our forgiveness, through the blood of Jesus. The clean (white) page helps children to receive God's forgiveness. The green page helps new believers to become more like Jesus in the way they think and act.
This book has a teacher's guide, a song, and ideas for teaching one-hour programs. It is written for elementary or preschool children. The section for preschoolers shows how to change these lessons for younger children.
Considerations
- For children 5 to 12 years old.
- Permission is given to the buyer to enlarge one set of visuals, a set of overhead visuals or PowerPoints.
Limitations
- The song used has a western tune that will need to be changed. Culturally appropriate music should be used.
- Some pictures show parts of people or scenes. These will need to be explained to children who are not picture literate.
- Some colors used may have different meanings in other cultures. The correct meaning will need to be told to the children.
Guidelines for Use
- Record the translated text on audio book or CD.
- In Sunday schools, Bible clubs, Bible Schools, 5-Day Clubs, and Christian camps.
